Tom R.

CEO and Owner

Our CEO and Owner, Tom R., is a seasoned security industry professional with over twenty years of experience. Having served in the British Army as part of the 1st Battalion Regiment of the Irish Guards, Tom brings a unique perspective to his work. Since relocating to the United States in 2004, he has specialized in providing high-quality security services to high-net-worth clients, dignitaries, and heads of state, as well as estate and executive protection. Throughout his career, Tom has demonstrated a proven track record of success, having worked with numerous prominent celebrities and led the operations and logistics of various large-scale events such as Film Festivals, and Award Shows, including the Emmys and the Golden Globes.

Tom is renowned for his unmatched expertise and commitment to providing the best possible service to his clients. His consistent level of knowledge and security expertise has earned him a reputation as the go-to security expert for clients and security leaders nationwide. Tom is known for building long-lasting relationships with his clients, prioritizing their needs and exceeding their expectations.

Shane Q.

CFO and Owner

Our company’s CFO and co-owner, Shane Q., is a retired and highly decorated Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. With over 30 years of experience in the security industry, he has worked on several assignments throughout Los Angeles County and received some of the best training in the country.

Shane was awarded the Medal of Valor, the highest honor from the Sheriff’s Department, for his exceptional bravery. He has also received several commendations for his unwavering dedication to his work and service to the County of Los Angeles.

Shane’s expertise in the security industry includes field investigations, security management, and executive protection of high net worth and celebrity clients. His vast experience and knowledge make him an invaluable asset to our company.

Apart from his professional life, Shane is an active member of his community. He volunteers for various charities and organizations and supports several Veteran and Military causes.

Sarah B.

COO

Our Chief Operating Officer brings over fifteen years of experience in leadership and training, marketing, educational and resource development, and emergency medical care. She ensures operations run smoothly and oversees client contracts. She trains and delegates projects within the administrative team to carry out initiatives and company goals. Sarah provides marketing and business development strategies to our company, focusing on building and enhancing various networking opportunities, and overseeing the management of our media channels. Her combined experience and background knowledge of security gives her a unique perspective in the security industry. She proves to be an asset by enhancing the company portfolio.

Among her academic accolades, she has training and certifications, including AHA CPR and First Aid, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, Emergency Medical Technician, Forensic Pathology Technician, and Community Emergency Response.

Terence S.

Director of Training & Scheduling

Our Director of Training and Scheduling is a retired Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff with 29 years of experience.

Terence spent the majority of his career in a training role, including the Training Deputy of a large bureau within the Sheriff’s Department. Terence responsibilities included State and Department’s mandatory training, including active shooter response, emergency evacuation programs, CPR and First Aid, crowd and riot control, and self-defense.

Terence also brings years of providing personal and residential protection to celebrity and foreign dignitaries.

Dan N.

Account Manager

Our Account Manager, Dan N., is an experienced professional with over thirty-two years of prior law enforcement background. He supervised and oversaw law enforcement operations for stations in Lancaster, Malibu, West Hollywood and Universal City Walk. His focus was on security strategies, personnel deployment, training, and responding to security incidents. In his leadership roles he collaborated with numerous outside federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. Dan continues to be an asset at Taurus Protection Inc. managing multiple accounts and security personnel.

Emerson M.

Director of Executive Protection

Our Director of Executive Protection, Emerson M., brings over eight years of a diverse law enforcement background and training. He has specialized expertise as a defense tactics instructor, baton instructor, and training officers in critical safety skills. After his career in law enforcement, he gained valuable experience in executive protection and security management. His dedication to both his profession and community has earned him a reputation for strong leadership and a commitment to public service. Emerson oversees the operations and executive protection teams for many of our valued clients and their estates.

Rafael M.

North District Supervisor

Our North District Manager, Rafael M., has over ten years of experience in the security field. He started his educational journey by earning a Degree in Criminal Justice in the early years of his security career. Later, he further enriched his academic background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

During his experience in the security field, he gained valuable knowledge and training that enhanced his skills, where he excelled in training new hires, began creating security procedures, and focusing on employee development. As he gained valuable experience, Rafael was delegated security site management and supervisory roles.

After joining the security team at Taurus Protection Inc., Rafael quickly utilized his experience and skills to move up the ranks and advancing his promotion to our North District Supervisor. Rafael continues to train our new employees and manages multiple client accounts throughout Northern California. He has become a consistent leader of our security teams and strives to provide the best customer service for our clients.

Lead Security Officer

Our Lead Security Officer Chris, began his security career at entertainment venues hosting talent including Sinbad, JoKoy, Rob Schneider, and various celebrity performers. He continued to gain valuable experience and training in private security for private events and businesses.

After joining Taurus Protection Inc., Chris quickly utilized his experience to become a source of leadership and training for various security teams. He continues to focus on employee training and development while providing management support to ensure top-notch security teams. He is now serving multiple security teams at Taurus Protection Inc.
